Bring cash but well worth it
Best Banh Mi in ATL. Quick, $3 and delicious
Food is great. Place can get busy at times and you will have to wait, which can be awkward due to the small size.. It's not the prettiest place but the food makes up for it. Cash only.
MoreThey're closed until a vaccine comes out!
This place has been before beginning of time, well at least back in the day when Chamblee/Buford Hwy area was the hub when it came to the Asian community in the state of GA.The reason it lasted so long is because the food is amazing. They offer a lot of Vietnamese comfort food like pho and banh mi. Lots of flavor here and each of the dishes are really cheap. You won't be spending much here and portions are enough to leave you satisfied. The place isn't much to look at in all honesty. Design wise it's very basic. You have your tables and check out counter. People either dine in or order to go. Once you're seated be prepared to order right away as time is money and they try to provide you service as soon as possible. Time is money!Definitely a staple as it has been for years now. One of best options for some quality Vietnamese comfort food. Oh yeah forgot to mention. They only take cash, so make sure you stop by the ATM as well.
MoreNot the best food but very cheap. Good enough for the price.
If you are in the area and need a good/quick/cheap vietnamese food fix - yep, yep, and yep. BBQ pork bahn mi sandwich was amazing and the egg noodle soup with wontons (plus thick cut bacon floating in there too) was just as good. Recommend!
MoreThe real deal. $3 banh mi, open early, cash only.
Always so good and authentic Vietnamese food here , and best freshest banh mi in ATL
MoreI agree with other the review. It is A HOLE IN THE WALL!! The pho here is the best I have had here in Atlanta. I went to another place like this in Nashville,TN and same memo they ONLY take cash. That’s probably why these have the Best pho.
MoreBest Bánh Mi in Atlanta! I buy one pork bbq and one shredded chicken so there's leftovers for lunch the next day. Sooooo good.
MoreThis has been my one and only Banh Mi shop for at least 5 years, until now. It seems they've changed their BBQ Pork supplier or have changed the recipe. The taste wasn't the same as before in any of the 6 sandwiches I ordered. The vegetables were a third less than before, but the baguette remained the same. I was told that the price increased a few months ago. Before, it was buy 5 sandwiches and get one free for $15. It has ow gone to $17.50, which is not a big deal, but I cannot understand why the quality has gone down yet the price went up. I'm looking for another go to Banh Mi joint!
MoreI had just got into town and picked up a tofu banh mi all the flavors was there except for the heat of the peppers or pepper sauce, so without the heat I didnt miss the cucumber so much at all. That said the tofu was flavorful and a pretty perfect texture to me. As I was walking to my destination, I really thought it was an enjoyable sandwich and for under 4 bucks.
MoreQuick, yummy Vietnamese diner with a casual atmosphere. Menu has English translations. Shrimp with rice and the beef noodle soup were delicious. CASH ONLY.
MoreTasty sandwiches, would get sandwiches here again.
They are temporarily closed with no expected re opening date .
Wonderful. The sandwiches, bahn mi are just the best. Crispy bagette with barbaque pork or chicken, then add carrots, pickles and other finely chopped veggies. All with a nice sauce. My friend enjoyed her Pho! Note this is a cash only store, but the low prices and great food will keep you coming back.
MoreWhat a great sandwich for a good price. The basil rolls were fresh and a good addition to my lunch. I plan to go back often.
MoreThe absolute best Banh Mi in the Atlanta area. Cash only! The Pho is awesome too.
MoreGreat Food at really great prices. For $3 you get nice sized sandwich. The bread is incredible! I liked the Bahn Mi more than the Pho.
MoreLegit Banh Mi. Right flavors and priced properly. Highly recommend.
Seriously the best sandwiches in ATL. Can someone please post when they reopen? Thx!!
MoreCan get crowded, especially on the weekends and during lunch. Cash only!
Some of the absolute best (and cheapest ) Viet food (especially banh mi) around
My normal go to spot for banh mi sandwiches and pho. Today was a total miss though. Normally the bbq pork banh mi sandwiches are on point, but the pork was not hot or crispy today. The pho broth was lacking flavor, I had to add a lot of hot sauce. At least it is never greasy. I tried their Thai tea for the first time and it was terrible. I will be back because they have some of the best prices and best banh mi sandwiches in town, just was not on point today. Note: they only take cash as payment.
MoreLove their Pho and chicken banh mi. Always my goto place for quick Viet cuisine.
I've been going there on and off a long time since 1997. The sandwiches are awesome, and the other food is great too !! Very nice people, great service. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves or wants to try Vietnamese food !!!
MoreCASH ONLY! Now the review - many seem to reference this spot as the gold standard of Banh Mi in Atlanta. The sandwich and pho were certainly good, but I’ve definitely had better (Lee’s Bakery).
MoreThe food was decent, but I'm giving this place 1 star because me and the other patrons heard one of the employees cut her nails while we were eating. She didn't even cut her nails over a plate. She cut her nails over the floor. This rude employee is why I give this place 1 star.
MoreHad the barbeque pork with steamed rice... One word... DELICIOUS.
Banh Mi was great...pho and rice were okay.
Great banh mi sandwiches that are surprisingly cheap for the size. The bread is awesome and the filling is full of flavor. Best to come during off peak hours because it is a small place and can get crowded and very busy.
MoreGreat service, great food, good price.
My lunch for less than 9$ at this place. I sometimes come here for typical Vietnamese sandwiches. Remember to bring cash when getting the food from here.
MoreExcellent BBQ Pork sandwich at only $3. Good size, lots of filling. Comes with dressing, carrots, cucumber, and lots of cilantro.
MoreThis place serves the best banh mi and pho in town. I eat there at least 2-3 times per month. I recommend getting the banh mi thit nuong and a bowl of the pho tai nam. Great service, and delicious food. Make sure to bring cash though! There is an ATM next door if you forget though.
MoreThe food is incredible! The sandwiches - the pork especially, are some of the best in Atlanta. It’s a small hole in the wall you should definitely try. In Asian Market center on Buford Highway just inside 285.
MoreThe parking lot in this shopping strip is difficult to navigate even when it isn't slam packed (which is most of the time), but the sandwiches here are worth a little headache!Super cheap, and the bread is deliciously crunchy.
MoreExcellent Banh Mi - this is now my go to place. My first time here I ordered 6 BBQ pork. They give plenty of meat and the bread was still good. I had been going to Viet tofu (quality dropped) in the past but this place is better
MoreSo So good and So inexpensive! My daughter ordered the tofu banh mi and it was huge, all for only $3! The picked veggies in the sandwich were so very good. My husband and I got the beef phô and it was also very good. Make sure to bring cash, as it is cash only. Such a great gem. I love this place!
MoreGreat food, cheap prices, fast and friendly service.
excellent flavor and great service. Proof that food does not have to be expensive to be great tasting and of excellent quality
Morebest banh mi I've had in Atlanta so far and I've eaten them at about 9 different restaurants. They cost around $3 which is a bargain. Why would you ever go to Subways? lol
MoreThe bahn mi there are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them. I even like them over Lee's Bakery, myself. One thing to note, they do not accept cards, this is a cash only restaurant.
MoreI love it. The sandwiches are delicious and the price are great. You get lots of veggies to put in the delicious pho. The service is fast even when there’s a crowd. It’s good. Go. Now.
MoreThis is the place to go if you are looking for a great banh mi! Their bread is the best. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The BBQ pork is my favorite. Never dried out and always great flavor...smokey and a little sweet. Love the veggies. This is the best sandwich. If you buy five, and get one free so it is perfect for a family for lunch or dinner.I always get take away but there is a smaller seating area. You can also see them make the sandwiches behind the counter. Be warned, this is a cash only spot.
MoreBest bahn mi in town, hands down. I went on 6/2/20, and the sign said "Closed until Vaccine". I hope they open soon, but only if they feel safe enough to do so. I miss Quoc Huong so much!
MoreI love eating at this pho place, it’s my favorite and their food is delicious! Hands down, I just love their broth, bahn mi, egg rolls and just everything. They only accept cash and those hole in the walls are the best! As for the 3 star rating.... The last time I went with my sister and 2 friends, they charged us an extra bowl of pho we didn’t order and we didn’t figure it out until we got in the car. Granted it was probably like 7 dollars, but we always tip well and it just stinks that they did us like that. Yeah, it’s petty... but I would go back still because the food is so good. Just keep an eye on how much they charge.
MoreThe Vietnamese rolls are fantastic. Best thing I've ever eaten. Please be kind to the people, understand they don't speak English well.
MoreLove the food, love the price, love the place! Make sure you have cash, and watch out for the bubble tea, it will give you brain freeze. It good though, so try it if you have not already.
